Default Jessica London jessicalondon.com Redirects Affiliate Traffic w/ FreeCause Toolbar

By participating with the Freecause toolbar, the Jessica London Affiliate Program allows commissions to be hijacked from affiliates to the toolbar.
Brad with FreeCause confirmed to my husband & me on a phone call on 7/9/09 that the toolbar overwrites affiliate codes that do not have the "afsrc=1" code at the end. This code is not well known by affiliates and is impossible to use on dynamically generated links from data feed files, such as thouse through PopShops. Additionally, even with the "afsrc=1" code, the toolbar gives the shopper the "option" of claiming the commission for their toolbar, as their philosophy is that the "commission belongs to the consumer".
Additionally, this toolbar inserts a commission when none was earned (when the consumer types in the url directly or even when they go to the site from a Jessica London email). Why would any business willingly pay a commission when one was not earned?
The Jessica London Affiliate program is allowing a third party to interfere and hijack affiliate commissions from affiliate marketers who are using their time and talent to send them targeted traffic. As a fulltime Affiliate markerter, I find this unacceptable and will not be supporting such merchants in the future.

Couldn't find an email ID for this merchant.
If anyone has an email ID to contact this merchant, please send a merchant alert email.

Regards.

Something interesting in the above image. The toolbar covered some HUGE leaks on the merchant website.
Merchant has "AFFILIATE LINKS" to some of their sister websites.
